In HOUSEHOLD BAGGAGE HANDLERS: Stories From the Hearts and Lives of Military Wives, 47 women held up a magnifying glass to military life and captured the idiosyncrasies and the inspirational, the enchanting and the exasperating. Now editor Marna Krajeski invites others to share their heartwarming, insightful, and humorous stories for the second installment in the HOUSEHOLD BAGGAGE HANDLERS series.
What makes a good HOUSEHOLD BAGGAGE HANDLERS, TOO story?
It’s a frank, funny, friendly, true account about military family life that entertains and enlightens the reader. It’s the beautifully expressed personal story of an adventure, a lesson learned, a simple joy, or an event that epitomizes military life. It should create an emotional connection with the reader.
Guidelines:
The maximum word count is 1200 words.
For each story in the book, a 50 word biography will be included about the author.
If your contribution is selected, you will receive 3 complimentary copies of the book and a publishing byline.
Spouses from all branches of service, past and present, are invited to participate.
There are no limits to the number of submissions.
